Blog Meet

More details...

At the Drinks N Grub event there was

JayG, naturally
MBtGE
Turk Turon (what a treat to finally meet him)
CJR Multigun
Newbius
Alan Gura (still squee!!!)
Excels at Nothing and her Shorter Half, and a friend of theirs that makes Bowie knives named Michael

Frequent commenters:  Chris (igli), TheAxe - BusError, Stretch, Sid, Nikki & Rob, John... and I may have missed someone...

But dang it was a fun night of socializing.

And Jay was presented with a VERY cool coupla knives.  I drank too much beer and MBtGE poured me into his truck and left me on my lawn, which I thought was very kind of him.

Join the 2nd Amendment Foundation.  Poor Alan was half starved.  You see, winning Constitutional court cases doesn't actual PAY anything...  It felt so good to get a bowl of soup in him before he went out into the night to ask for spare change on the interstate offramp.

You call that a knife?

  2. Wonder how many months Jay would get in the Re-education camp if the VolksRepublik caught him carrying that EVIL Assault Sword in Beantown? After all, Reasonable People know there is "No Legitimate Sporting Use" for such an item, isn't there?

  3. "Will argue Second Amendment rights before SCOTUS for food"

    Got to Photoshop that one.

  5. One of the more memorable parts was when Alan was talking about the lack of dealers and ranges in DC. How vital it is to us to get some set up before the only dude doing it transfers stops or dies and how much it would help the pro 2A side politically even running a at a fiscal loss.

Also the beer and company were fantastic!

I hope I can make it out to one of y'all's shindigs sometime. :)

  8. It does look like you all had a good time. Wish I could have made it up there.

  9. @TheAxe: Dearth v. Holder will help in that regard as well. A win in that case (for a US ex-pat in Canada suing for his 2A right to buy in Ohio and store with family) will allow DC residents to go to Virginia and buy.

I reserve the right to delete patently offensive comments. Or, really, any comment I feel like. Or I might leave a really juicy comment up for private ridicule. Also spammers.

You can always offend hippies in the comment section. Chances are, those will be held up as a proper example...
