How Come...

How come...

When a gun control law passes or a court ruling goes against the 2nd Amendment, enforcement of that ruling goes off on time without a hitch.

But when a court ruling goes against the forces of evil, like DC and CHI, and expands freedom, they get away with dragging their feet and stall and don't comply with said ruling?

If a gun confiscation law came off at midnight, the cops would be coming the streets and knocking on doors before breakfast.

If Maryland changed it's law to "you can buy magazines bigger than 20 rounds now, it's ok" I picture that it'd be weeks before stores would dare sell them and they'd be unjustifiable harassed by pols if they tried.

  1. Its still illegal for me to have a gun unlocked in my house that isn't in my "Direct Control" despite that law being declared unconstitutional by both Heller and McDonald.

Its because its the .gov that does evil and doesn't want to STOP evil, so they always push forward and resist sliding back.

  2. Because the government has more important things to worry about. Like protecting rats and their families in D.C. I mean, second amendment...rats, it's a balancing act for them. Only so many hours in a politician's day.

  3. Well, if you want Federal Prosecutions to Occur against those cities and states that are violating SCOTUS Rulings, it'll take a DOJ that is will to Obey SCOTUS Rulings in the first place. But THIS Admins DOJ is so Politicized, that they are going after States who want Voter ID in place before the Election. This in spite of the Fact that SCOTUS ruled 5 years ago that Voter ID is Constitutional.

In Other Words: "FREEZE! You're OBEYING the Law! You have the Right to...."

I reserve the right to delete patently offensive comments. Or, really, any comment I feel like. Or I might leave a really juicy comment up for private ridicule. Also spammers.

You can always offend hippies in the comment section. Chances are, those will be held up as a proper example...
