Farmer Frank

Now that Indiana, this season, is all dried hard pan, like kiln-fired porcelain...  I guess Farmer Frank picked the right Autumn to decide to not put a crop in his land his own self...

Good luck to your compadres out there, Farmer Frank.  This has got to be hell.

  1. Yeah, even my wife thinks I'm smart. Whether it was wisdom, a premonition or just plain luck, it was a good decision.

In talking with an insurance friend, this drought is actually a lot worse than what MSM is telling. The insurance guys think it is worse than the dust-bowl years and could prove to be the worst drought in the modern era.

Whatever it is, it's going to be a hard winter for a lot of rural/farm folks this year...

    All The Best,
    Frank W. James
