Ear Burning?

The Atlantic is talking about us again.  They seem to think our side won the debate again.

But after Newtown, many gun-control advocates tried to shame rather than persuade, as if the "correct" position was obvious to everyone save retrograde idiots"
    Translation: They're screwed. There is no rational way to "persuade" people to allow aggressors to have the upper hand. Emotional persuasion - shaming, name calling, bloody shirt waving - is all they have. If there is a "plan B," it will be executed with force, not persuasion.
