Navy ships of my era (1980-1984) typically stocked three types of firearms in the small arms locker: 1911's, pump shotguns (usually Mossbergs) and M-14's. Probably, judging from your .gif, that ship stocked Garands, 1911's and shotguns.

ReplyDeleteAddendum to above: they stocked M60's, too, but I didn't get to shoot those. Don't know if the Vulcan CIWS could be used on giant caterpillars.
