Ok, that didn't work as well as I hoped

The replacement extractor was dog meat.  So, screw it, I just left it behind.  I learned a lot, but the problems that got revealed kept snowballing. 

I'll get it back in 6 months or so.

    Ouch, sorry to hear that! But they can get 'away' from you the deeper into the pistol you get...
