You know, yer buddies Soros and Bloomberg still have OODLES of money. And they certainly have an interest in the subject. Why wait on the feckless gov't for funds for your inherently biased rights denying research and just get the spare change out of their sofas? They could totally fund it, and probably more generously.
The need for public money is important because it is necessary to divert attention from Soros and company, preventing the flaws of any study from being discovered quickly enough to rally the populace.
ReplyDeleteAlso, as was desired throughout the Obama Administration, it is useful to have one's opponents' fingerprints on the legislation to maintain the fig leaf of bi-partisanship.
