Python

I wanted a Colt Python stainless when I first became aware of them, mid-80s in Soldier of Fortune magazine.

Shoulda bought one back then.

  1. I was never wiling to pay for the pony, S&W has always been good enough for me.

  2. I owned one a few years ago. Great gun but Colt revolvers just aren't for me. I can't believe they have nearly doubled in valued since then. I should have held on to it!

  3. Being a contrarians, I carried a nickeled Colt Python for several years on the Job before going Semi Auto. It still sits in my safe. I guess there is someone out there who could put enough zeros in a check to buy it but the sentimental value is priceless. And in 1975 it was a whopping $25 more than a model 66.

I reserve the right to delete patently offensive comments. Or, really, any comment I feel like. Or I might leave a really juicy comment up for private ridicule. Also spammers.

You can always offend hippies in the comment section. Chances are, those will be held up as a proper example...
