Stoopid Birds

They decided the bottom 2 inches of my window screens make great nesting material.  PITA.  I guess I need to think about aluminum screen instead of... nylon?  Is this nylon?

I don't  have the energy for home repairs.

How disruptive is new replacement windows?

  1. I replaced every window in the house over about a 2 year period. Once I had the pattern down, I could do one in about 3.5 hours. It only took so long because I had to buy and pay for them as I went along.

  2. Local guys came in and replaced every window in my 1600sqft single story house in 8 hours. 15ish windows?
Cost wasn't bad either. Add 25% for Maryland.

  3. Use copper screens, with a fence charger.

You can always offend hippies in the comment section. Chances are, those will be held up as a proper example...
