So professor Eddie Glaude said, "mass shooting are the result of toxic masculinity that teach people to think they can protect themselves."
So who is in charge of protecting me, if not me, professor?
Almost a third of the regular shooters I know personally are women, do they have the toxic masculinity, too?
The professor then tied the AR15, symbolically, with the Minutemen of the American Revolution. Ok, that part is right. Good job, but you are still failing the exam.
Then he asserts the gun world is propped up by the "gun culture that makes people money." Admittedly, there is a bit of money in firearms. I'll grant that. Not so much the push the little-guy members of the NRA exert. But the industry money isn't THAT big a pile. Folks act like guns rival the pharmaceutical industry. Or makeup for ladies. Or delivery pizza. If our side had that kind of money we wouldn't be having this conversation.
