Genuinely Curious

Anyone reading  this in California?

If the vote on the 2016 bill to manage wildfire area better was 75-0 in one house and 36-0 in another, how come the legislature didn't override Gov. Brown's veto?

  1. well from what i read, jerry made them a counter offer of the same bill but hanging the costs on another non-pc group. the new bill got killed in the environmental committee though. guess jerry forgot to clear it with them first.

  2. Yes we're in the Gold Country, what I call Free California (because I can get a CCW permit), on the edge of the El Dorado National Forest, just up out of the bad-air/smoke down in the valley.
What riverrider said. Also the Stupidslature is eagerly beholden to the enviros at every turn, puffing up in displays of virtue like a tom-turkey.

I reserve the right to delete patently offensive comments. Or, really, any comment I feel like. Or I might leave a really juicy comment up for private ridicule. Also spammers.

You can always offend hippies in the comment section. Chances are, those will be held up as a proper example...
