SCOTUS 2nd Case

New York State Rifle and Pistol Association vs New York City

It's been 2 days.  You have heard about it.

Arguments in April, ruling in June.

This case is useful for me in Maryland.  If it rules "look, you can port an unloaded gun around locked in your trunk to lawful places," then that sorta covers some similar weasel words in Maryland's gun laws that may or may not be similar.  Technically, you might get wrapped up if you stop for gas on the way to the range or back from.  Here.  In Maryland.

The case might go further, and say you can BEAR a firearm on your person for lawful purpose, and state law can't stop you.  That'd be perfect.  I doubt we are that lucky.  Baby steps.

Or, worst case case...  rules against us and you can never leave the house with your boomstick once it crosses the threshold.
