I like the old 18th Century American flag. It reminds me of the great experiment that this country is, and how much good we've done for the world just by existing.
I have a number of historical flags I fly for certain occasions. I was just flying the 69th NY "Fighting Irish" in honor of the battle of Gettysburg.

ReplyDeleteBeen hearing the theory that Nike did this on purpose. It did get people talking about them more than an expensive commercial would. The people it would anger were already mad at them and weren't buying shoes anyway.
