Malaphor

 We'll burn that bridge when we come to it.



I saw that on FB, and figured malaphor would be a vocabulary word I'd retain forever, it is such a good word.  I was wrong.  Fortunately Facebook brought it back round, as it is wont to do.  You don't have to wait til the cows freeze over.    

So I am typing it again to remember it.  MALAPHOR!

    I don't know why, but one of my favorites is "His elevator doesn't go all the way to the belfry."

You can always offend hippies in the comment section. Chances are, those will be held up as a proper example...
