If it weren't for the 600 pound Gorilla

"The NRA... then we could finally pass some gun banning around here!  But the NRA controls Congress."

Well, crooked Wayne and his Crew can barely control their bowels and have to resort to fake PO Boxes on the board ballot envelopes to grasp to power.  So I guess it wasn't all them doing the legislative steering.  Maybe it's the constituents making up a majority of the voters in a majority of seats?

    that, and the gao. congresscritters cite the gun owners of america as the reason they vote against gun control. they genuinely fear them.
