I hadn't even had coffee yet.
They called me at supper time on a major holiday weekend. I'm cooking turkey for about 15 folks and asked the lady if she could call back another day (hint hint) as I was juggling hot bird, a bowl of potatoes guests and she just plowed over me reading her prepared speech. Pretty soon all she heard was a dial tone.
They called me just after I'd returned from a less than perfect workday. The moral of this story is don't do that without expecting to hear a dialtone in response.
