I enjoyed it. Better than Pearl Harbor.

"Better than Pearl Harbor" is a pretty low bar.
NJT, as in "yummier than a shit sandwich"? Not exactly a rousing endorsement of the movie.
I'll probably stick with the one made 40 years ago without CGI airplanes.
The whole thing must be done with computer generated graphics, and I found that impressive, and amazingly realistic.
I would watch it again, so sure, rent it and see for yourself.
Yes, it was worth it. Maybe a little cheesy and thin on some of the acting but almost felt like I was in the cockpit.
We saw it at the theatre, don't know if the effect will be quite the same on the home TV.
