Oh you didn't know about the kissy-kissy love affair between the Reds and the Nazis? Well, Stalin wouldn't want you to remember that little more than a year and a half when both genocidal regimes were bosom buddies. It's a shame they both couldn't have lost the war, somehow.

The German Nazis and Soviet Communists were close allies for ten years. The Soviets trained German officers on tank tactics and mechanized operations in the 1930's.
Odd, isn't it, that when Germany invaded Poland (to save ethnic Germans, who were being 'ethnically cleansed' by the Poles), France and the UK declared war on them. Yet when Russia invaded Finland, Romania, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and conquered half of Poland, France and the UK remained silent.
