And check out some of the freakish ammo ideas contemplated in the past.  5.2mm Mondragon?  5mm sturtevant?  WTF?

There is some seriously weird things considered by presumably serious people.

That's one thing about Firearms: there's always someone playing around with the Ammo for an improvement. Sometimes it works (.357 Magnum vs. .38 Special), sometimes it doesn't (.327 Federal vs. .32 H+R Magnum).
