Got a New Belt.
The thick kind. Double thickness. Good for a holster type belt. Stiff.
My old belt was de-laminating and had seen better days. If I could carry more then I'd have had to replace it a lot sooner.
I like these belts when knew. They are hard to get the buckle buckled and they creak like a wooden schooner. It makes it feel even more substantial. It gives you confidence.
I have to say for the money($25ish) the blackhawk!!!(!!!) riggers belt has been awesome. First belt I've ever used that I didn't have to cinch it tight with a crowbar to hold up my pants, and it's held up well for several years now.
And unlike leather my sweat didn't instantly kill it, though the phosphated buckle gets a little rusty on the non-wear surfaces.
To be confident and competent enough with a rifle to be able to hit anything I can see in a Jovian Thunderbolt kind of way.
To be able to defend myself with a handgun.
To perhaps harvest some tasty venison with either a rifle or a shotgun, any skin or antler is just a nice bonus, here.
And, if necessary: To Defend the Ramparts of Democracy from a Level 4 Zombie Outbreak or against the Jacobin, Rampaging, Godless, Red-Commie Hordes (or their modern equivalent.)
"You never select a shotgun as your primary anti-zombie firearm. It's great for onesy twosey, but zombies travel in hordes. The reload time is onerous, and the ammo, while effective, is heavy and bulky and short ranged."
Big Mistake for Her
If Ginsberg had let Scalia put the words "strict scrutiny" in Heller and Hillary said "Gun control is just not going to be a priority for my administration," Hillary would have been elected President.

At that price point, I would honestly rather buy an actual gun belt from an actual holster maker.
I'm currently wearing a crossbreed belt, and have been using it for a few years. Not as stiff as it was when I first got it, but still plenty solid.

What do you mean "at that price point". That's what Gallo charges.
I don't blend in at work with a riggers belt.
