I do know that if you can get eggs directly from the henhouse that were laid the morning you cook them, there is a BIG difference in flavor. I never found the flavor survived the trip through the warehouse to the grocery store, at least for ordinary white-shelled eggs. I guess I'm going to have to buy the organic free-range brown eggs to see if for those eggs the flavor survives the trip.

Buy local. The folk that raise chickens always have fresher eggs for sale far cheaper than you'll find at the big box. Just rinse 'em.
