They don't MAKE this gun anymore at SIG.
It's on the website, but they don't make it. Not no more. None to be had according to my store. Something LIKE it is still made, but not in Double Action. Bastages! I REALLY liked that trigger. Goram gun company!
Now I have to think again.

What about a non-SAS version? Seems like it wouldn't be too terribly expensive to have someone melt it for you.
Just a thought. That's the one I really wanted, too.
It's ALL the features in the P229 SAS DAK that I want. My gun dealer is telling me, "Hell, I can get wood grips for you, free of charge! Just on another 229"
But that's not the only thing I like about the SAS. I want the melty de-horn, I want the bobbed hammer, I want the grips, I want the double action only, I want the 2-tone, I want the size, I want the brand. My heart was kinda set.
Solution. Buy the non-SAS P229 DAK. Send the slide to CustomizedCreations for SAS/Slide Melting and have either them or CCR Refinishing do the slide in Stainless for the "2 tone" look.
I have a two tone Sig done by CCR and it looks nice. I also have a P229R DAK on the way.
