The description for this class sounds like exactly what I need.
The 'Basics', reinforced. Pistol Markmanship. Highly regarded instructors by all accounts of the students. TigerSwan. Sounds like the course was developed just for me.
The only disadvantage is the location. It's in Fort Bragg North Carolina. I'm gonna have to make a quest of it, someday, I think.

Sean did invite us to join him while we were all up at NorthCoast over Labor Day, remember? Of course, if you could get The Miller to Carpool down I-95 for the next class... ; )
Thanks for the link. Bubblehead Les is correct, I did invite you all. It is a long drive for most of you though. I'll let you all know when we schedule to next class (or classes) in the spring time.
I wouldn't have gone just on spec. Now that you HAVE gone, and report back on your experience in such glowing terms, I don't think I'd have to worry about it being a waste of time and money.
The compare/contrast with API 250 at Gunsite (I went in '92) was interesting.
Still I HIGHLY recommend this school which is much closer to you;

I've been to a LOT of schools (the aforementioned Gunsite and Thunder Ranch being the most "known" to the public). This one is worth consideration.
Full Disclosure; John Murphy is a friend and one of the first people I would call if things in my life get really scary
