Well, we got rid of nigh all of them, the lion's share before 1620. Just get rid of any reference to what those peoples were in the culture and slowly absorb the few remaining and we can just forget the whole concept. The idea of indigenous peoples in NA will fade to legend, then myth, then most will doubt their very existence. Mere Etruscans. Nearly forgotten
