Derringer, Judge, pretty much any single-shot firearm (just ask George Custer), Colt Single Actions and their clones (reload one round at a time? No thank you!), Pepper Spray, Stun Guns, Tasers.
High Capacity Weapons using easy to reload Magazines. And lots of them, that's the way to go, IMHO.
