So, the ne'er do well libtard character dating the Russia pilot in this cartoon has been influenced by her conservative sister (and main character) and is now packing heat for self-defense
In the previous days, her and the boyfriend were toting home improvement supplies by foot because the lumber didn't fit in their car. On foot through a sketchy neighborhood. They are set upon by thug gang-banger types by behind and through slapstick happenstance the lumber provides a comic foil "lookout! What? ~whack!~ Over there! What? ~turn~whack!~ ", and ends with the defensive shooting, winging the armed attacker's... arm.
Now look at that poor situational awareness. Walking around in a known bad nighborhood, ignoring the warnings from a sister, and in Condition White. And that poor shot placement! Sheesh. Let's see where the comic goes with this. Hopefully not TOO much further into the racial stereotype weeds...
Oh wait, they went off the rails with this one today with a Lone Ranger/007 hero vibe.
Condition White for the gun carrying Leftist sister still applies.

The metamorphosis from a sheep to a sheepdog doesn't take place overnight, or in a vacuum. It's a good start, though.
You know what a stereotype is, T-Bolt? It's what happens when a person without the proper college degree makes a conclusion about a group based on the observed behavior exhibited by that group. When a person with a college degree does the same thing, it's known as "anthropology."
Say what you want,he IS telling the truth...
So further developments show that there was an Angel providing overwatch. Skye shot a decent group but hit nothing but wall. Zed (her brother-in-law) made the miracle "just wound them" shot while bracing on a handy wall.
The cartoonist admits it has problems but stresses that 1) she was carrying and 2) there was a "sheepdog" because she is still learning. Chris Muir is a nice guy both in how his characters take care of each other as they learn and grow, and in person.
stay safe.
Chris Muir also recognises there is almost no way in hell that shot could be made and freely admits to adding some drama in there-I know, I shot 'hostage' indoor (2 people outlines on 6' cardboard target) with my Glock from 25 ft and kept hitting the damn hostage! At only 25 feet! Argh.
I would guess Zed was doing a snap shot and missed the torso and hit arm.
Yeah-let's go with that! ;)
