Hahaha! I see the same thing. We should be fair though, the teacup hold was still very "acceptable" even into the late 1980's, so it is possible that the gun consultants on these movies and shows weren't up on the latest findings and techniques even into the early 90's. I guess we have to forgive some of our older movies and shows. The ones produced today though have no excuse.
I suspect it's indicative that liberal Hollywood types make movies, and they're not into guns of gun stuff.
Remember the 'gansta' hold-yhe-gun-sideways thing?
Was popularized in the movies.
Really??!
Look at the size of those gloves. If you think there's a better way to grip that revolver wearing gloves that size, I'd love to hear it.
Horseshit. If it works for any individual, so be it. Most folks are not detailed to Mall Team 6 and don't need to drop tangos or zombies on a regular basis. Or ever. You use what you learned on the range or the back yard when you need muscle memory to kick in if someone kicks in the back door. It ain't rocket surgery.
No one commented that the chambers appear unloaded and the barrel looks plugged.
