I like the old 18th Century American flag. It reminds me of the great experiment that this country is, and how much good we've done for the world just by existing.

I have a number of historical flags I fly for certain occasions. I was just flying the 69th NY "Fighting Irish" in honor of the battle of Gettysburg.
I am now flying my Betsy Ross and the first Naval Ensign "Don't Tread On Me" and will continue to do so. I pity the fool that would dare to confront me on it.

Been hearing the theory that Nike did this on purpose. It did get people talking about them more than an expensive commercial would. The people it would anger were already mad at them and weren't buying shoes anyway.
