I'd keep the Squeezing Action switched to the Charging Function Only Circuit, myself. Use a separate pressure switch for the On/Off Circuit. That way, your light isn't doing the '"Clap On, Clap Off" Dance every time you release the grip.
No, make it recoil operated- you wanna see, you just have to keep shooting!
