1911 shaped Glock frame

Holy Crap! Just like the title says.

Hmmm... so many polymer frames out there could be reshaped to a whole plethora of formats. The downside is the silhouhette isn't recognized as that manufacturers 'brand.'

Wonder why there aren't more custom fitted to an individual frame services out there? It'd certainly be cheaper than those sculpted .22 target pistols grips.

You could some seriously customized guns with plastic... certainly from the slide down.. But with standardized internals.

Update: How bout this.... a Glock, with a Luger grip shape!

Geez! If you want a 1911 grip and feel, buy a 1911. There are even polymer framed 1911s now if weight or capacity is an issue.

Why attempt to make a Glock into what it is not when the original product is available. That's like buying a Chevvy to get the look and feel of a Ford.

Rediculous.

Meh. Some folks hate the grip ergonomics of a Glock, but love everything else. Maybe this would be for them.

Of course, my opinion, the reason the Glock grip is bad is because it's too fat.

And not much you can do to make a fat double stack mag grip less fat.

There are people who will do that for enough $$... :-)
