They are making them new
You, too, could have a nigh ideal zombie getaway residence. Just modify the stairs and put up some barricades. With a deep enough frontage your fishing boat will provide you food. Some solar panels, rain catchments, wind turbines. Voila.

Hurricanes?
Corrosion would be the big PITA...
Perfect for a Hurricane, Les. It's higher than the story surge. You'll want to put your boat on davits and winch it up, but that's a relatively simple operation. Anything you store on the lower desk will get washed away. Like firewood and sandbags.
Another thing to consider. Ice. Floes will saw those legs off, as they did many screw pile lights in the Chesapeake. You'll need rip rap for that.
But how do I know they're not Zombie Fish?
And one more question, is it high enough for the shark jumping zombies?
Wrap that sucker in rubber every coupla years, and corrosion won't a big deal.
Ice can be solved by going south. I think I can live with that.
