I still wake up and have that shock of realization.  Donald Trump, that real estate guy from New York that I saw in all the news magazines in the 80's...  won the election.  How is that even a thing?

I am still gobsmacked.

And it broke a lot of the media.  But the media was pretty mired in minutiae already,

I remember, also, in the 80s, the news magazine being obscessed with the plant on the mantle in the Whitehouse.

Well, not they'll go on and on about the size of his massive pepper shakers.
