Get that mounted on the rifle. My Luepold scout scope can work on it. but the purpose if for a future red dot optic.

Actually, I'd put on the Scout Scope and leave it alone. Why? So you can get the best out of the Long-Distance Goodiness built into the M1A. Put the Red Dot on the 10/22 instead.
