If the NICS system can't catch a guy like the Orlando shooter... What's the point in having background checks?
Oh. For convicted felons. I wonder if it even catches them.

So, I've seen the NICS background check stop someone before. His girlfriend then immediately stepped up and tried to straw purchase for him. The clerk told them to both leave the store "Right now"
I bet you dollars to donuts the next store they went to he just stayed in the car though...
A felon failing the NICS should be the same as an immediate 911 call to the po-po to pick him up and bring him BACK in.
