"What’s really disgusting about Bloomberg’s tactics, is none of these transactions and dealers shown here have anything to do with gun show loophole. It’s illegal to operate as a gun dealer, for livelihood and profit, without a Federal Firearms License. It’s illegal to knowingly sell guns to criminals. In all of these cases shown, they could be prosecuted under current laws. But he’s not going to tell you that, because the goal is to get rid of gun shows."
I posted the same thing over at my blog. I personally, don't care if they make us go through NCIS checks at these thing since I don't have anything to hide. But the big point here, and most of you hit it on the head, nobody is enforcing our current laws. Somebody that admits that they have sold "hundreds" of guns at gun shows is obviously a dealer and not a private seller. And the guy that says he doesnt care if the buyer tells him he couldn't pass a background check, what happened to him. chances are the "investigators" didn't report him to the local LEO's at the event but threw him back on the pile to go about his business again.
To be confident and competent enough with a rifle to be able to hit anything I can see in a Jovian Thunderbolt kind of way.
To be able to defend myself with a handgun.
To perhaps harvest some tasty venison with either a rifle or a shotgun, any skin or antler is just a nice bonus, here.
And, if necessary: To Defend the Ramparts of Democracy from a Level 4 Zombie Outbreak or against the Jacobin, Rampaging, Godless, Red-Commie Hordes (or their modern equivalent.)
"You never select a shotgun as your primary anti-zombie firearm. It's great for onesy twosey, but zombies travel in hordes. The reload time is onerous, and the ammo, while effective, is heavy and bulky and short ranged."
Big Mistake for Her
If Ginsberg had let Scalia put the words "strict scrutiny" in Heller and Hillary said "Gun control is just not going to be a priority for my administration," Hillary would have been elected President.

What is your position on this issue?
My concern is that they will close the door on ALL private transfers.
well, they'd have to. to stop that kind of activity, or it will just go on outside of gunshows.

So...basically, they acknowledge that these people are already violating federal law...but somehow passing ANOTHER law will stop it?
All this undercover video showed is that the ATF is failing miserably at its job.
Too busy going after gun dealers who use abbreviations on 4473's I guess.
